Scope of Engagement:
- Fire damage to sorting hall of a major European textile company which owned, washed and processed linens and towels for large hotels and restaurants;
- Measurement of business interruption loss and increased costs of working.
- In excess of US$3,000,000
- Identified and quantified increased costs of working resulting from the insured’s washing of linens and towels at alternate facilities;
- Identified and measured rent saved as a result of the insured’s renegotiation of terms post-incident;
- Quantified the effects of the insured’s failure to meet obligations under long term sales contracts as a result of the incident.

Scope of Engagement:
- Fire damage to the manufacturing facility of the largest supplier of career apparel in the Eastern Caribbean;
- Measurement of business interruption loss, extra expense and stock loss.
- In excess of US$500,000
- Physically counted stocks lost in the fire including fabric rolls, shell designs, threads and accessories;
- Calculated gross profit percentage based on actual sampled invoices from similar items sold during the 3 months prior to loss;
- Determined the physical location of work-in-process inventory at the time of the fire based on physical observation and analysis of the automated inventory system reports.
